Infalation Ratio & Increment
The VTI employees are living from hand to mouth, due to insufficient salaries comparitively high prices of commodities & other necessaries. In this scenerio the management should adopt the following strategy to meet the desires of the employees:
1-The adoc rlief of 2009-10 should be merged in the basic salaries of the employees.2-The performance Appraisal, Annual increments from 2008-2010 are still pending, should be released with immediate effect.3-The management should notify 50% increment positively, announced by federal as well as Punjab government.
We are optimistic that the management will pay heed towards these core isssues.

Suggestions to improve the system:
1-Summer Vacations from 20th June to 30th June & winter vacations from 20th December to 31st December should be notified.
2-The honourable Management should constitute departmental promotion committee for the appointment of Principals in VTIs, currently available in whole Punjab.The senior employees working in VTIs since inception are still optimistic about their growth.It will be very positive step from the management on promoting them as principal, because the senior employees know the system well & they can manage the institutes in better way.It will also enhance their devotion & integrity towards their home VTIs. 3-The revision of salary structure is most important.In this concern lot of posts in different VTIs of Punjab are still vacant due to low salary, which has effected our quality training.The management should pay heed towards this crucial problem,so that quality training can be provided. 4-The employees are still waiting for Annual increment. It must be released.
