Dear Colleges,

          As world is collapsing financially, every organization is thinking of their budget cuts and education even in modern world has no immunity or exemption. I have been watching and browsing for years. Teachers around the world protest for the safety of their jobs. They have started zeroing in on their future, their designations and their status and earning. California has been famous for the teachers protest. Greek, Bulgarian and even in the UK and France teachers and students seem to be protesting for education price hiking. Many connoisseurs are worried about the poor who cannot pace with high fee graphs. We are also rowing the same boat.

Many teachers in our organization are upset furiously because nobody is ready to give ears to our issues. Whereas most of them can be solved without affecting the budget but our adamant officers believe in egoism. In such situation, every teacher of our organization thinks of coming out and raise slogans against the bureaucrats. They all want to restructure the system and even more safe future. That is why we launch a move for which I am getting in touch just to send you a quick note. Some bureaucrat may appear to be threatening you because structure of our organization is threats around us. In these circumstances I would like to aware you of your rights. Please recognize your human rights.

You can get together at some place where you   can express your views , deliver a speech

You can protest non- violently

You can make a special interest group for your professional betterment and development.

You can write and publish your views.

You can attend meetings and conferences and if some authority stop you or try to breach your human rights, please let us know because, we shall start our non-Violent protest from the door of that authority. We shall write to Human Rights International Institutions what is happening in our organization .We shall highlight why we have no right to speak and expression. If some authority phone or write, threaten or attack your job due to this particular conference that we want to hold peacefully in Faislabad or question or stop your leave why are you going to attend teachers’ event, please get back to us and send us that threatening document.

 What you cannot do?

Do not use humiliating words for any authority or person. You should not stop your work because we teach for poverty alleviation. Just print a banner and show your agitation peacefully.

We want to show just intellectual resistance. We are teachers a well- awaked and civilized community. We do not believe violence.

You cannot damage any property, defame any person or authority.

Please do not worry, we are all with you. I look forward to seeing you in Faislabad.

Teachers and professionals’ Conference Invitation

I am writing to say how delighted I am on seeing the morale of teachers and professionals for the revival of their breached rights.

I have been receiving phone calls which I was reported through that many of the female teachers weep for their rights. One of the messages was “why you not wakeup”.

The other message was “Higher officers have just received free black berries precious vehicles and teachers and professionals are not given their increments and promotions.”

 English teachers were given humiliating designations which do not commensurate with their qualifications.

We met with Chairperson Faisal Ejaz in 2010 and presented our demands on behalf of the teachers and professionals from the Punjab working in Vocational Training Institutes but he has been heard to be ridiculing our core demands in different training sessions before the teachers and professionals.

Please keep in mind we respect him but it is clear that we do not feel fear from him. We have nails big enough to deal with such pressuring personalities but non- violently.

Actually, I personally have been from the hope like Obama that new Chairperson has great vision for the teachers and professionals but what a pity! He demolished our annual increment system when professionals and teachers make a question, he replies.

“All Vocational Training Institutes will be closed”

We say that a single institute cannot be closed because we have courage to fight for our rights.

 In annual general meeting we shall discuss the issues of RPCV (Punjab Rights Protection Committee for Vocational Institutes) and in this session some new members will be co-opted and elected.

In this conference lot of teachers and professionals from around the Punjab will deliver their speeches and express their views about their future. How they feel down in dumps? What are their expectations?
